General FAQ's

Where can I stay up at Vallecito Lake?

Where is the Marina?

  • Vallecito Marina is off CR 501 located on the SE shore of the Lake. The Pura Vida Cafe fronts the road, and the Marina is located in the parking lot below on the lake shore. Here is a Google Maps link.

Do you rent Jet Skis?

  • No, we don’t.

What do you rent besides boats, buoys, and slips?

  • Vallecito Marina offers multiple kayaks, SUPs, and even fishing rods for rent. We DON’T rent jet skis, tubes, wakeboards, or water skis.

Can we bring our dogs on a rental boat?

  • Yes, we allow dogs on certain boats but not others for an additional $50 fee. Some pontoon boats and all aluminum fishing boats are OK for dogs. Please pay attention when booking your reservation whether or not that vessel is dog-friendly.

Do you sell gas?

  • Yes, Vallecito Marina sells gas at the Marina.

Do you sell fishing licenses?

  • The Marina has a computer available for public use in order to purchase fishing licenses. However, we strongly recommend that you purchase your fishing licenses prior to arrival as we hate to see any unnecessary delays in getting you out on the lake. It’s easy to purchase via your smartphone from the Colorado Department of Wildlife by clicking here. You may also visit the Pine River Lodge just down the street to purchase a fishing license if you'd like.
